REVISIT OST Captures
While listening to the whole REVISIT OST I captured my glance wandered in a different way to the music. Reflecting my core concept of the soundtrack which is/was "The creative potential of sound as a medium that generates atmospheres and alters perception" just like in previous works I had a soundtrack produced by 6 producer. Wspecially for the REVISITED 360° virtual experience. The records being one part of this concept, the soundtrack will also be in a second installation. The videos in this playlist are one minute videos teasers reflecting this concept as well as the core concept of the work itself. The spectator becoming the co-producer of the final frame. Driving through the same virtual reality tunnel over and over again, I got attracted to different situation and felt differently when the music/ soundtrack to my experience changed.

This vinyl release is part of my extensive REVISITED project. It consists of 360 video, media installation, photography, collage, artist book... and soundtrack. As an object each record of this soundtrack represents a certain slice of time and space defined by the sequence frame depicted on the insert you hold in your hands. By sliding an insert into the sleeve the center label cut-out reveals either the front or back perspective of the image. For the soundtrack I invited befriended musicians. Their exclusive contributions represent their interpretations of the 360 videos and the ambience they wanted to add to them. The aim of my audio-visual concept being: The reflection of "the creative potential of sound as a medium that generates atmospheres and alters perception". (Markus Oberndorfer)
